Immigration is one of Britain’s most fiercely debated and diversive issues. At the next general election it will play a pivotal role in deciding which political party takes power. At the heart of the debate are cities like Leicester- one of the first UK cities to have a non-white majority.
So now, eight citizens of Leicester, who represent the city’s diversity, have volunteered to live together to explore whether they can ever truly accept immigration. Can people of different races, different religions and different cultures really live together? And what happens when people finally have an honest conversation about who is welcome in modern Britian?
